Upon another end

2005- done. Same as 2004, 2003, 2002, and 2001. Still no number 27. A-rod for MVP??!? How about a hit? Unit cant pitch worth a damn in his own start, throws lights out when its way too late. Bernie can't play the outfield right? Fine job Bubba Crosby did out there. Bernie can still be effective with the bat huh? Nice 0-5 as the DH, leaving Giambi in at first to blow throws to the plate.

A phone call has been placed to Acme. The dynamite is own its way, and I have a feeling that the Yankees as we have come to know an love them will be blown sky-high.

Seriously, can you be less clutch than A-rod? Even with all his crap he could have driven in something big in the 9th. You can live with a Posada GIDP, or Tino, or one of the slow runners. However, 48 HRs and 120 RBI should not result in a rally crushing ground out.

This sucks.

possibly you haven't noticed cause it's only your 2nd year with Alex so close... i should've warned you...

His numbers during the reg season are EMPTY numbers. He improved it this year, but for the most part in his career, he's been about the least clutch GREAT player in this generation EVEN in the reg. season.

anyway, you think it's hard being a yankees fan? try being a braves fan! Bobby Cox is about the least clutch MANAGER of ANY generation. He's a Top 3 reg. season manager... maybe only Torre is better... maybe it's 1a and 1b... but get him in the post season and he changes how he manages...

He got lucky ONCE ... ONCE in 15 years! ... SIGH. I hate being a braves fan.

about the payroll theory. ... i'm NOT a supporter of the idea that because they spend the most money, they are required / expected to win every year. I think it's something that media members say and that fans jump on board with, but it's somewhat pretentious...

Why? because EVERY fan has the right to EXPECT their team to win. Reality says that Tampa Bay won't win, but is it because they don't have the payroll? or because they don't have the talent? Yes, i understand those things somewhat parallel... but as fans, we still have the right to expect. the organization to win.

And the truth is, you can rarely buy championships. The marlins did it in 97... but i challenge you to find one other champion in any league that has bought a championship...

and i personally don't think LAAAAAA angels are sub-par, but hey, your a bit jaded right now. ;-)
